Recently noticed password digest field not getting updated in the person document. Adminp doing all other tasks except this one. Steps I did as follows:
1. Empty password digest field.
2. Enable password check
3. Already server security configuration was enabled to check password on id.
3. Keyed 'tell adminp process new'
4. Loged in client pc and changed password, then logged out.
5. Still the password digest field is blank.
Adminp logs not showing any requests related to that. At the same time any other changes making on the person document is getting updated in the adminp log. For examle internet password change on next login. etc.
Kindly help on this issue.

Comments: Thanks Mark. My client is 8.5.3. Another thing what I have noticed interestingly, all digest field got updated when I enabled the Org level security policy field "Check password on ID file" to YES. But as per the help it says it works only for shared login. Is there any relation between the security policy entry "Check password on ID file" and the person document "Check password" field. Also I have noticed the lockout option also not working after changing that.
